The Workshops
The Workshops
Our workshops focus on areas and issues commonly faced by most families.
Using practical and real-world scenarios, parents are given the opportunity to hear the information and then immediately practice using it through role-plays and dialogs.
This opportunity for immediate rehearsal of key terms and information helps ensure parents do more than just learn the concepts - they are also more likely to have the confidence they need to actually use their new knowledge and language in interactions with the school and their children!
The U.S. School System
Parents receive an overview of the K-16 public school system, with an emphasis on the relationship between the district and the local site.
Proactive Parent Involvement
We explore the difference between proactive and reactive parental involvement. Parents learn about opportunities for engagement from the classroom to the district boardroom.
Digital Safety for Families
Parents learn about the impacts of digital devices and social media on mental health. Parents are introduced to various tools and resources available to help manage their family’s digital experience.
Together, these workshops strengthen trust, deepen the connection between families and schools, and create a foundation for lasting engagement and student success.
Because a more confident and engaged parent community always leads to a more confident and engaged student body.
